Happy Sir John A. Macdonald Day to everyone!
We remember, and celebrate his life for the good he did! Being our first prime minister and for being the chief architect of Confederation. https://t.co/YwMMdjO5xm
Happy Sir John A. Macdonald Day to all my fellow Canadians! May we continue to remember his contribution to the foundation of our great country! https://t.co/OlDRwVN9LW
#OTD in 1815 Canada's first PM, John A. Macdonald was born. In 2002 the Government of #Canada under PM Jean Chretien designated 11 January as Sir John A. Macdonald Day. https://t.co/TbVc64kO8m
Both Sir John A. Macdonald and Jean Chrétien have birthdays today. Macdonald, on this day in 1815, first PM of Canada. And Chrétien turns 88 today. Should he live two more years (and I bet he will), he will become the 5th PM to turn 90.
Sir John A. Macdonald Day is held every year on January 11. The Right Honourable Sir John A. Macdonald was the first Prime Minister of Canada and one of the architects of Confederation. https://t.co/xPEVyDxyKh
Today is the "official" birthdate of Sir John A. Macdonald, but he was actually born the day before. His father listed Jan. 11 in his journal as his birth, but Jan. 10 is the true day.
Anyways, here is my article/episode about Sir John A. Macdonald
